The EEOC agreed that a federal employee (U.S. Postal Service) had been retaliated against by her manager. The manager’s attorney threatened the employee with a lawsuit. The EEOC determined that the threat of a lawsuit would clearly keep an employee from engaging in protected EEO activity. Dixie K. v. U.S. Postal Serv., EEOC Appeal No. 0120170226 (Jan. 11, 2017).
