Federal employee wins appeal and larger damage award. VA employee filed an EEO alleging sexual harassment and retaliation (reprisal). A finding in her favor was made. She was awarded $25,000 in non-pecuniary compensatory damages (emotional distress). However, on appeal the OFO determined that an award of $50,000 was more appropriate.
