Federal employee wins EEOC case. Complainant, an employee of the Social Security Administration, filed an EEO alleging harassment on the basis of age and reprisal for engaging in a protected EEO activity.
The complainant requested a hearing before an EEOC administrative judge. After a hearing the AJ, issued a decision in complainant’s favor. The Agency then issued a Final Agency Decision rejecting the AJ’s decision and filed an appeal to the EEOC’s Office of Federal Operations (OFO). The OFO affirmed the majority of the AJ’s findings but modified it slightly and remanded for further proceedings.
